Blown Away

Unless your girl has a shaved head she will love this one! She may not even know that she wants it but she won't be able to live without it after the first use.

It's the T3 Bespoke Labs Featherweight Dryer.

What makes it worth the $200?
Weighing in at 13 ounces, it's the lightest, most powerful hairdryer available that won't damage her hair. (AKA Won't make her hair feel like straw.)

This hairdryer is the Cadillac of all hairdryers. It uses a special technology to manipulate the iconic and infrared properties of tourmaline* to dry hair 70% faster. (This means you'll have a better chance of catching the movie on time.)

*Often classified as a gemstone, Tourmaline is a mineral that helps hair dry faster with less damage when used in a hairdryer.

Find it at Sephora, online and in stores for $200.

I'm sick of this chaos known as my laptop. It practically got eaten by a virus a few months ago so I had it reformatted only to leave it without the most basic program- Microsoft Office. So I finally get the program installed back on it last week. Well... Yesterday it decided that it had no desire to boot back up.

So this leads me to my next obsession. A new laptop. I've been true to Dell for a while now. More like my whole life. I'm going to try something new next time.

The MacBook.

Its sleek looking silver case. Its glossy screen and black keys.

With a 13.3 inch LED screen, and a weight of 4.5 pounds it is the perfect laptop for her. It has 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor- you know what that means, even though she won't.

My favorite feature on this laptop? The power cord is magnetic. So yes, when you are chasing the dog around the table and he trips over the cord, it rips out-- without taking your laptop down on the way.

Get it at for $1,299. PS- If you know someone with a student ID use it! Apple gives a 10% discounts to students for computers!!

A Girl Needs Some Change

I get sick of looking at the same pictures on my desk. Sometimes I even flip them over just so I don’t have to see the same people looking at me all day. A girl needs some change every once in a while.

Thankfully, someone heard my cries and answered them! The Sony 7” LCD digital camera is the best of its kind. It has several different options- show one picture, a slide show, or a calendar with a picture beside it. The picture is much clearer than some of the other digital frames.

The frame itself looks great. It has a sleek black panel that doesn’t take attention away from the picture.

*Please, whatever you do, do NOT buy one of those digital frames that have like wood or silver around it. That is the worst mistake you could make.

Hear it ring?

No, it's not one of those rings! But you can still give her something to show off. Ths Lemon Citrine Ring from the David Yurman Lemon Ice Collection would make the perfect gift for any girl.

The pave diamonds surround the Citrine stone to make a quite attractive piece of jewelry. This isn't really a delicate ring though. It has a good weight to it and it is pretty flashy! However, its feminine details allow it to be worn everyday, unlike cocktail jewelry (big fake jewelry).

Take my word for it though, this isn't something you can go buy last minute. Since ring size 6 is the most common ring size, it is the only size David Yurman makes. If the lady doesn't wear a size 6 the purchased ring it is sent off to get resized. This takes about two to three weeks.

For her: A shiny, pretty tv.
For you: One of the best TVs on the market.

She likes it because it's sleek. You like it because that has a good picture. It's the perfect mix- where beauty meets brains.

The Samsung 46" 1080p LCD would make the perfect gift for her. For just under $1,300* you can get her the sleekest tv on the market.

Hold it

Many girls pay close attention to purses but don't pay any attention to a wallet. (I am guilty of this- My cards are usually loose in the bottom of my bag!)

However- the solution is easy! The Tory Burch Saffiano Continental Wallet is the perfect size. There is nothing worse than a bulky wallet. (I'm sure you know what that is like.)

Trust me, she will love this wallet so much she will be dying to pay!

The wallet is available at for $225. It comes in white, fushia and chocolate, but I think it is cutest in the fushia.

Ask a guy what is staples are and he will probably tell you beer, steak, hamburgers (and maybe xbox). Now if you ask a girl the same question, she will give you a long list of items that you have never heard of but most likely, her list will include sunglasses.

Girls love sunglasses. My current favorite are the new Fendi Skinny Sunglasses in the light Havana color with gold hardware.

What is good about these shades is that you will still be able to see her eyes through them! There is nothing worse that not being able to pick your girl out of a lineup because she's wearing big, black sunglasses that cover up half of her face.

Although they are alittle pricey at $325, I'm sure your lady will take special care of these!

So she'll stop running late.

We all know how annoying it is when girls take too long getting ready and make you run late. But maybe she won't take the hint when she unwraps a Toy Watch. (It's a real watch- the brand is Toy Watch.) These trendy watches are made out of what the company calls "plasteramic"- a cross between plastic and ceramic because it looks ceramic but it's plastic.

This watch is a good gift because it will show her that you know that she isn't just a boring silver watch kind of girl.

Why she'll love it:
The watch will be her new favorite accessory.

Why you'll love it:
7:00 won't mean 7:45 anymore.

Get it at for $195.00. Also available at certain Saks.

If there is one thing you didn't know about girls it's that they LOVE pictures. I'm not sure why, maybe they are more visual than guys or maybe they are just vain, IDK they just do.

This Sony Cyber-shot digital camera is sure to please even the pickiest female. The camera is very thin (W x H x D: 3 3/4" x 2 3/8" x 21/32") so it will easily fit into any purse she is carrying. Again, girls care about the appearance of things so this pink camera will definitely fit her standards.

I'm one of those "I can figure it out" type of girls when it comes to technology, but I know there are lots of girls who are completely lost. This camera is extremely easy to use. My 94 year-old grandfather bought this camera and was using it later the same day.

The camera is 10.1 megapixel so she can blow up a picture as big as she wants without losing quality.

Just be ready to have lots of candid pictures where you look stupid posted up on facebook.

The camera is $399.99 at

I'm so excited about the kickoff of my new blog! So here it goes...There is one gift that is almost impossible to mess up: Perfume!

My current obsession are the eau de parfum(s) made by Bond No. 9 New York.

These perfumes are so special compared to others and are perfect for a fashionable girl. The company makes over 30 different scents but my two favorites are Scent of Peace and Union Square. Both bottles are collectors editions (hint: girls love things that come in pretty boxes)
Scent of Peace (Bottom) is a light perfume that is perfect for any woman wether she is 18 or 88.
50 ml- $140 and 100 ml- $198.
Union Square (Top) is a strong, floral perfume for a woman who likes to stand out.
50 ml- $135 and 100 ml- $195.
Both available at
